Approval workflows#

This guide is for implementers configuring multi-tier approval processes for program operations, change requests, and other workflows.

Prerequisites#

Important

The spp_approval module must be installed. See Module installation for module installation instructions.

What you'll find here#

Quick start#

  1. From the main menu, click Approvals

  2. Go to the Configuration tab and click Approval Definition

  3. Click New to define a new approval workflow

  4. Select the Model the approval applies to (e.g., Change Requests, Cases)

  5. Choose the Approval Type (Security Group, Specific Users, Manager of Submitter, or Dynamic Field)

  6. Optionally add Tiers for multi-step approval chains
